Our team of more than 200 employees develops an on-demand carpooling service in the form of an end-to-end integrated product, from hub, fleet, and driver management to passenger and B2B solutions. About your team

You will be part of our business analytics team that is passionate about leveraging data to create knowledge for opportunity identification and decision-making within MOIA. Our analysts focus on different business domain along our value generation chain, such as demand generation and pooling. 

What you will do

  • Analyzing our data to discover opportunities and shape product strategy, helping us build an efficient product that our customers love.
  • Engaging in the design and definition of requirements for the infrastructure and processes that you need to run your analyses and generate impact through your findings.
  • Collaborating with the product development teams to ensure that the required data is available as you need it.
  • Developing dashboards and reports that help your stakeholders monitor business KPIs and enable them make data-based decisions.
  • Explaining findings from your analyses to different audiences, making their implications for product development explicit.
  • You are part of the Product Office and drive the use of data in our product design & management approach. 

What will help you to fulfill your role

The right person will be comfortable in an “all hands on deck” environment, loves solving problems, is excited to work in high-performance teams, and can thrive in a startup culture.

  • Consultancy: You deduct implications from your analyses to consult decision makers – a background in research, management consultancy or a comparable in-house position within a transport or tech company is preferred.
  • Excellence: You are experienced in identifying analytical needs, defining KPIs, and generating and testing hypotheses. You are experienced in the application of Python, R or similar to work with large data sets. Experience with state-of-the-art tools for Business Intelligence such as Tableau is preferred.
  • Drive the business: You proactively push data-based insights into the organization. Visionary: You think big, craft compelling visions for your ideas, and understand what makes your products commercially viable (or not).
  • Pragmatist: You get things done, make sound decisions under pressure and resolve issues effectively.
  • Friendly, but tough: People enjoy working with you because you communicate well and evoke optimism, even when you’re delivering difficult news.
  • Fluent communication in English is required.
