About your team

We are a diverse team of Analysts, Data Scientists, and Engineers who provide assistance and guidance to all data driven teams at MOIA. As a platform team we are responsible for providing tools, frameworks and knowledge in order to guarantuee a consistent and holistic data experience. 


What you will do

  • Together with a cross functional team of Analysts, Scientists and Engineers, you will shape and drive MOIAs data governance strategy in fields such as Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Catalogue and Metadata Management.  
  • You will develop frameworks and tools which support all data teams at MOIA with the implementation of these defined strategies 
  • Collaborate with our distributed analytics teams to improve the resilience of our data products 
  • You will challenge the status quo when necessary in pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement 

What will help you to fulfil your role

  • Work experience as a Data Quality Specialist, Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer or Backend Engineer 
  • Work experience with Python or JVM languages and SQL 
  • A strong understanding of distributed data platform architecture that enables a diverse set of internal customers to work efficiently with data. 
  • We highly rely on a wide variety of AWS services in order to build our data products. We try to keep our stack as serverless as possible and trust in IaC (Kinesis, Firehose, ECS, ECR, Lambda, EMR, Athena, Glue, Redshift, … ). Therefore, familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment, test-driven development for cloud environments is a plus
